  4. Discharge: The compressed gas exits the pump through the outlet port, typically into a receiving vessel or vacuum system.
  5. Oil Management: To maintain proper sealing and lubrication, these pumps require a continuous supply of fresh oil. Some pumps are equipped with oil reservoirs, and mechanisms for oil recirculation and filtration ensure the oil remains clean and effective.
